Welcome to Saint Paul's Church Penketh.

St Paul’s is a small Anglican Church in the suburb of Penketh in West Warrington. We are now in new £1 million building, funded entirely by the congregation of the church, supported by friends and family in the local community and  grant organisations over a long period. The new building will not only allow us to develop our Christian faith, but enhance our community outreach, building on the stirling work of our existing community centre (The Oaks)

We love our local community, and we want to meet with you!

Our aim at St Paul’s is to provide all sorts of settings in which local people of all ages can access and grow in the Christian faith. Our community work doesn't just stop on a Sunday. We want to welcome you to sit with us and have a coffee or something to eat at the Old School Cafe at the Oaks, to sing with us in our community choir, to dance the afternoon away at our tea dance, browse in the shop or experience the many other things on offer. Our latest initiative will be  "Lifetime" living together, which starts on Thursday 10th October 10-12, and every Thursday after in term time in the new church building.

Further information on our community centre and its inter-generational use can be found on other pages of this web-site.

All generations can take advantage of the many activities at The Oaks, if reasonably mobile, and we regularly visit care homes if they are not!

We love to work with the other Christian churches in the area as part of the West Warrington Team of Anglican churches, and meet regularly to plan and hold community events and services. The Team Vicar with oversight of our congregation is Rev Sarah Peppiatt, who can be reached via .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

At St Paul’s we always try to put Jesus at the centre of our lives and in our work, and so we extend a warm welcome to anyone and everyone!

A variety of church services take place each week as well as mid-week groups. Please get in touch if you'd like to learn more.
