Data Protection

Since the government brought in the Data Protection regulations (GDPR) in 2018 we have revised our policy on collection of personal data. We do need to have details about our regular congregation and people linked to the church, in order to communicate with them. This is requested when a person joins us, and a form is provided which covers name(s), address, telephone numbers and email addresses. This information is stored on a secure database, and is only accessible by the clergy and those members of the team who need to contact people, either by phone or email.

The form requires a signature agreeing to the information being held. If you feel strongly that you do not agree, then you need not fill in the form, but we will then be unable to contact you.

No personal data will be given to any third party.
