The Africa Choir, a group of 23 orphans from Uganda came to Saint Paul's for a special concert.
Voices filled with hope – faces bright with joy – lives touched by love
The children shared their dreams and stories of hope though a lively mix of contemporary and traditional African songs, drumming and dances.
The children within the choir are between the ages of 8 and 16 years and have been rescued from horrific situations where they were facing abuse, neglect, starvation, sexual abuse and many were orphans. They have been rescued and now live at Kampala Children's Centre. Their lives have been transformed and now these children sing a new song, one of hope, restoration, freedom and Joy and they are bringing it on tour!
All proceeds from each tour will go to supporting the work of Kampala Children’s Centre: to rescue and save more precious children’s lives and give them the gift of a bright future.
