Little Acorns Children's Day Nursery in Stocks Lane, Penketh has scooped yet another top award. After winning YMCA Training 'Employer of the Year' last November, Little Acorns have now achieved the very prestigious 'Oustanding' grading in all 17 areas of their Ofsted inspection.
The Ofsted report recognised that:
'Children's thinking is challenged and their learning supported through very sensitive interaction of the highly skilled staff team'
'Children make rapid progress in their learning and development'
'Children receive plenty of attention because of the high adult ratios'
'Children's individual needs are met exceptionally well because of the excellent partnership with parents'
Director Debbie Byford said 'The nursery has gone from strength to strength in the eleven years we have been open, the team here are so dedicated and work tirelessley so that all children are able to reach their full potential through high quality play.
Manager Jane Williams was thrilled with the Ofsted outcome and said that this has been a joint effort between the team, the children and the parents. Our families here at Little Acorns are so supportive we have a great partnership.
Little Acorns wishes to thank all our parents, present and past, our collegues and Warrington Borough Council Early years team for their many best wishes, cards, flowers and gifts. Debbie Byford said 'We have a wealth of high quality Child Care in Warrington and its great that we can recognise each others achievements, and a special thank you goes to Green Park for their kind recognition of our achievement.
